THE CONVENIENT AND PRACTICAL WALL

Gypsum blocks for internal partitioning by Gessi Roccastrada are a system for the realization of the internal walls, faster, more convenient and with technically high performance compared to the traditional brick and plaster system.
The "GYPSBLOC" blocks of GESSI ROCCASTRADA are made of 100% natural gypsum stone (calcium sulphate - CaSO4 2H2O).
The blocks are perforated with male/female joints on 4 sides and are assembled with the use of the gypsum-based PT or PT3 adhesive. The water-repellent HYDRO Blocks are recommended for the first row in contact with the floor and for whole walls in humid environments. Water repellence tests carried out in accordance with UNI EN 12859 are available on request.

WALLS FOR BATHROOMS, KITCHEN AND HUMID ENVIRONMENTS

GYPSBLOC is available in water-repellent version (blue color). The water repellence tests carried out in accordance with UNI EN 12859 and are available on request.
The water repellent block is provided for the following cases:
1) always, in the first row in contact with the floor
2) throughout the wall in bathrooms, kitchens, cellars and underground facilities.

ACTIVE FOR ENVIRONMENTAL HYGIENE

Environmental quality plays a key role in peoples well-being. Gypsum surfaces naturally fight bacteria. Laboratory testing results in a remarkable reduction of implanted colonies. The GYPSBLOC walls are therefore particularly suitable for use in environments and places of high affluence.

GYPSUM AND 100% NATURAL GREEN BUILDING

Gypsum is a mineral made of calcium sulphate. It is an absolutely natural, odorless and non-toxic material. It has been appreciated for thousands of years in building for thermal and acoustic insulation and passive fire protection. In addition, gypsum regulates the interior humidity, thanks to its micropores which, if necessary, absorb humidity and, if the air becomes too dry, return it back to the environment. GYPSBLOC responds to the new biocompatibility requirements of buildings with particular reference to applications in the hospital construction industry.
